SHELTER for Victims of Family Violence
*full renovation of all apartments where women and children find
shelter from violence at home
*children’s program for the children on-site
*gifts-in-kind for victims
*design of a webpage for the shelter to help with its ongoing
fundraising strategy.
12 APARTMENT Renovations
*renovate 12 apartments whose residents are either extremely poor
families, disabled, or elderly, under the care of welfare/social
services in Łódź.
CHILDREN’S HOMES (Domy Dziecka)
*paint children’s rooms and playgrounds in 4 city-run facilities
NEW
*renovation and painting of rooms in this Christian facility for people
struggling with addictions
NURSING HOME
*cleaning, painting, and outreach program in a large city-run facility
HOSPITAL
*fixing/painting hospital beds and other small furniture
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
*painting the eating hall and classrooms. The school is located in a poor
neighborhood, where a local church is already doing outreach.
*6-day outreach designed for up to 100 children ages 4-7. We will build
a Native American village with replicas of tipi tents and other themed
equipment to provide a fun setting for children to play games, compete
in teams, and learn basic truths about God.
